Igor F. Palacios, M.D.: This Emerald Starburst child is 50% polymerous, 6.25" diploid, dormant is named after George's Cardiologist, who has been instrumental in providing excellent health care. The 32" scape has 3 branches and 22 buds and has a mid to late bloom season. The very large light green eyezone spills onto a thin purple picotee on a light lavender background with pinched petals and curved back sepals. The flower has a very striking presence in the garden. Its polymerous trait has been found in many of its kids. $150./SF and late Spring '2013 delivery.


COSMIC EXPLOSION

Cosmic Explosion: A 3" Diploid, Dormant, with a very striking eyezone, small bright green throat spilling onto rainbow rings of various colors including blue and ending with dark red onto a ruffled cream background with veining on slightly curved back petals and sepals. The 22" scape has 20 buds and 3 branches, with mid-season bloom. A child of Blue-Eyed Bonny. $100./SF and late Spring '2013. delivery.


GREEN ICON

Green Icon: An Emerald Starburst kid which has a 98% green self with off white picotee edging - - - the green stops you in your tracks. In very hot weather it has a curved back appearance and in cooler weather the flower is only slightly curved back. This Diploid/Dormant cultivar has a 34" scape height with 20 buds and 3 branches and blooms midseason. $150./SF - not to be released until Spring '2015.
